Szambelan ("the App") is a mobile application that helps you track your septic tank fill level by recording water meter readings, garden meter readings, and pump-out events. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the App handles and how.
We do not collect any personal data.
All information you enter into the App — including tank details, meter readings, pump-out records, costs, and notes — is stored exclusively on your device in a local SQLite database. None of this data is transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party.
The App stores your preferences (theme mode, notification settings, onboarding status) locally on the device using the standard platform key-value storage (SharedPreferences on Android, UserDefaults on iOS). These values never leave your device.
The App may send you local notifications (fill-level warnings, pump-out reminders, reading reminders) if you enable them. These notifications are generated entirely on-device and do not involve any remote push notification service. No notification data is sent externally.
The App does not require an internet connection to function. It does not make any network requests, does not use analytics or crash-reporting services, and does not contain any advertising SDKs.
The App does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data. It is distributed through Google Play, which may collect data independently as described in Google's Privacy Policy.
The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected, there is no special risk to children's privacy.
All data resides on your device and is protected by the operating system's built-in security mechanisms (file-system encryption, app sandboxing). If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data is permanently deleted.
Because the App stores data only on your device and we have no access to it, you are in full control. You can delete any records within the App at any time, or uninstall the App to remove all data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
